No band has been better documented by circulating live recordings than the Grateful Dead. Although vast quantities of recordings from the '70s are now easily accessible to collectors, tapes from the primal, early years of the band (1966-67) were extremely scarce.

Following Bill Graham's classic introduction, where he refers to the band as "the Charles Atlas of the psychedelic set," the band kicks things off with a high-speed performance of "Cold Rain and Snow." Garcia then leads the group through a rare performance of the rock and roll classic "High-Heeled Sneakers." Even at this early stage, Garcia's style and approach to the guitar, which reflects years of banjo picking, is uniquely his own. Hey, and while your listening, log onto www.indianasbestpizza.com and order an incredibly tasty Calzone, BBQ burger, or a whopping Ice Cream of the day. Turn off the lights and enjoy both... Papa

Winter time  is definitely here, but Papa's is taking advantage of the season by serving several varieties of the finest fresh fish around.  A lot of places advertise fresh fish, yet only provide mediocre frozen product.  We're serious when say fresh.  If you don't believe it, stop in and try varieties that include Mahi-Mahi, Ono Wahoo, Blue Marlin, Escolar, Sea Bass, Sea Scallops, Walleye, Lake Perch, and Grouper, Jumbo Alaskan King Crab, and our homemade Dungenees Crab Cakes. You'll leave with a smile on your face and a recommendation for you friends.  We're also exploring the waters for more options so stay tuned.
